First Friday Art Walk Event

Artist Jenifer M. Hernandez starting drawing at a young age using her father's drafting tools creating on the back side of discarded blueprints. Her creative talent was furthered with love and support from her family through honest critique, encouragement, art classes and supplies.

Spending much of her summers as a child in the mountains, nature was and is her muse through shapes, patterns and colors with its expanse and solitude.

Jenifer started her higher education in zoological illustration, then to studio art. In 1992, she was given the opportunity to study art and art history in Oxford, England where she enjoyed traveling through out England, painting and sketching the historic and scenic countryside. She finally earned a degree in graphic design from Cal. State San Bernardino in 1996 and currently, with her husband and daughter, live in Fullerton.
